Colombia exports account for 14.1% of the worlds cut flowers ($1.4 billion dollars) worth of flowers yearly.
Ecuador exports account for 8.2% of the worlds cut flowers ($798 million dollars) worth of flowers yearly.
California leads the pack producing about 76% of the states cut flowers for distribution. Washington follows behind with 6% of the U.S. cut flowers. New Jersey and Oregon harvests about 4% of the cut flowers sold in the U.S. Hawaii and North Carolina makes up 2% of flowers sold. Lastly Florida yields 1% of the United States cut flowers in the states.
